Coil Screws Using Coil Screws
Measure the diameter of the hole in your doll's head, body, arm, or leg. Convert inches to millimeters if necessary.
Carefully screw the coil into the hole and attach to the body, head, and/or limbs.

Setting armature in a Porcelain doll using Gapoxio
setting armature in porcelain Simply mix a small amount of Gapoxio and press into the porcelain opening in your doll's arm or leg.  Insert armature pin or "eye" screw or coil. Let harden. String doll as usual.

Connector Pic 2
Useful to securely attach a doll's head to the shoulder plate.
Measure the doll's neck, edge to edge (not circumference) and convert to mm for size.
The pictured doll's neck measures 1 3/16", which converts to 30.16mm. The connector used is 30mm, and makes a perfect fit

Connector Pic 4
Here's how you do it... Connector Pic 3
Push down on the spring and slip a twist-tie or wire through the "eye", as shown here.
Place the wooden connection through the hole in the doll's head, button side down
The twist-tie or wire helps guide the button placement into the doll's neck.
The button should fit comfortably into the neck and not slip through the hole.
With the little crossbar piece handy and holding the twist-tie, place the doll's head upside down and slip the twist-tie through the hole in the shoulder plate.
Connector Pic 5
Using the twist-tie, carefully pull the spring open and insert the crossbar. Ease the spring back in place. The crossbar is now snug against the inside of the shoulder plate. (Removing the twist-tie is optional)
Wooden Neck Buttons
These are used to connect your dolls head to an all porcelain body. You can use either an S-Hook or a Neck Hook with the neck button.
Neck Hooks Using Neck or S Hooks
If using the Neck Hook, all you need to do is to close the straight end once the hook is placed through the hole in the button
If using the S-hook, open up one end with a pliers, and insert the straight end through the hole in the button.
S Hooks
Bend the end and attach to the elastic strung through the body, and close up the end entirely to secure the elastic to the hook.
Using Non-pop (Teddy Bear) Joints
Non-pop joints seperatedPost Flange These are used to connect stuffed cloth arm, legs,or stuffed head to a stuffed cloth body to create a moveable joint.  You can place the base flange into the arm, leg, head or body, although the body is preferable.
NPJ put together - not tightened The base flange with the post is placed inside the body, which has already been stuffed to the armhole level. A very, very small slit is made in the fabric if there is no side seam. If the body won't be seen, it's a good idea to put a bit of Fray-check around the slit. You may also want to make a small "pad" of doubled fabric with a slit in it and put this on the flange before putting the flange in the body.
Once the post is worked through your slit, add small bits of stuffing around the plastic base to soften the contours. Side view of NPJ before tightening
Take the middle "washer" and place it over the post on the outside of the body. Finish stuffing the body.
Take the arm (or leg or head) and match up to the body for placement. Mark the spot where the post from the flange would enter the fabric.
Make a slit in the arm fabric, if necessary. Stuff the arm up to the point where the post will enter. Turning the arm partially inside out, push the post through the fabric. Once the placement is where you want it then push the last washer over the post, pushing down until it meets the washer.
DO NOT push this last washer down until you are sure it's where you want it because this waher is NOT removable once it's in place. It "snap-locks" closed
