How
to Measure for a Wig |
| Wrap
a cloth tape measure around the circumference of your doll's head, just
behind the ears and across the forehead, as shown in the diagram. Wig
measurements are sized in inches. |
| If
your doll's head is "in-between" wig sizes, it's better to get
a wig slightly too small than too large. |
| Carefully
cut the elastic in the wig to allow for size adjustment. A wig too large
will look "like too much hair" on your doll when finished. |

How
to Measure for a Shoe
Measure
your doll's bare foot from heel to toe.
Convert
inches to millimeters if necessary and add 5 mm to that length to determine
the correct shoe size.
Add
extra 2-3 millimeters for allowance if your doll's foot is very wide.
A
wide foot is one that the ball is considerably wider than the heel,
or is "chubby", like a baby's foot.
If
the ball of your doll's foot is distinctly wider than the heel - you
may need to get a shoe one size larger.
Always get a baby
shoe to fit your baby doll. These shoes are made wide
| Here
are some popular doll sizes: |

Girl - 75mm - 77mm
Apple Valley
Dolls - these vary, but the 23" baby is approximately 82mm
